An Educational Fund Raising Event

The Tour For Woodside is an event staged to benefit the Woodside High School Foundation Endowment. Woodside High School draws students from some of the most affluent and the most economically deprived communities in the state. It’s no secret. Funding needed programs in today’s public education environment can be challenging. The WHS Foundation raises funds throughout the year for tangible equipment, supplies and personnel that are not available because of state funding cuts. The WHS Foundation Endowment is a special fund dedicated to supporting ongoing programs that enrich the academic environment for students of all levels. Income from the event will be used to fund ongoing programs in the areas of English language skills, focused college prep courses work for the socioeconomically disadvantaged students and peer to peer counseling.
